The University of Helsinki as a founder and shareholder

The HEI Schools model for preschools and kindergartens is developed in cooperation with the University of Helsinki and is based on principles of Finnish early childhood education.

The University of Helsinki is the oldest and largest university in Finland, and it has repeatedly been ranked among the world’s top universities. The Department of Teacher Education of the University of Helsinki is the most versatile unit providing teacher education in Finland and currently ranks 22nd in the world.

Director of EU Agency European Training Foundation 2023 – present, State Secretary, Finnish Ministry of Education 2013-15. Over 20 years of experience in international education. One of the three founders of United World College in Mostar 2006. Adjunct Professor at the University of Helsinki.
